“LIE DOWN – New Works”, by Edurne Aginaga

The Brighton Photo Fringe was founded in 2003 to compliment Brighton Photo Biennial and has grown into one of the largest festivals in the UK. This year, it takes place between Oct. 25-31 2014.

The Vanja Contemporary gallery is participating at the BPF 2014 with a selection of new works by Edurne Aginaga.

Edurne Aginaga’s works, part of her acclaimed LIE DOWN series, consist in surreal installations of carefully arranged objects on walls of public buildings. For each installation, the photograph does accurate  adjustments in perspective when placing the objects and then he takes the photo in an unusual perspective, in a way that makes the viewer feel like standing upright on a vertical surface.

A very interesting work with a complex narrative.
