Plus 81 Gallery is pleased to present Slanted Entry, a collective exhibition featuring Mina Hamada, Joe Hollier and Takeshi Miyakawa.
This three great artists present diverse series of works transgressing the edges of art, each one through their own style.
Mina Hamada is a street artist, she is famous in Barcelona (where she is currently working) for her work as muralist and painter. Actually we had the chance to interview her for the first edition of our magazine (read the article). Her style is colorful and vibrant.
Joe Hollier is a graphic designer, illustrator, artist, film maker & animator and Miyakawa studied architecture and works in furniture design. He likes to make stop animations, collages, music videos, documentaries, and books, among other thing, and likes to play with words, phrases, colors, images and scale, carefully assembling them into patterns.
Educated as an architect and trained as a designer, Takeshi Miyakawa approaches creation with certain zeal for life that vibrates from within himself. He is a specialist in making objects that are mathematically complex and aesthetically immaculate.
The exhibition will be open until January 11th, 2015.
